The Clinton Global Initiative University is looking for students committed to impact to join its next cohort! CGI U is a year-round program that helps develop the next generation of leaders and social entrepreneurs by giving undergraduate and graduate students access to training and mentorship opportunities, a wide range of international experts and changemakers, and inperson and virtual networking opportunities.
In addition to year-long engagement opportunities, all accepted students will be invited to CGI U’s first-ever international meeting hosted by President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland from April 17-19, 2020. Students will hear from topic experts, form meaningful connections with one another, and learn how to turn their ideas into action.
There’s no cost to participate. But to be part of this program, students need to commit to addressing a pressing global challenge or issue in their local campus or community. This pledge – called a “Commitment to Action” – takes the form of a new, specific, and measurable project that each student develops either as an individual or with their peers.
