What is Startuplifers?
Startuplifers is a student-driven nonprofit and community that sends talented students from the Nordics to intern at startups in the biggest and most dynamic startup hubs and ecosystems in the world – San Francisco (and Silicon Valley), Tokyo, and Shanghai. All internships are paid and between 3–12 months long. Every internship offers a unique opportunity to accelerate your growth and potential both personally and professionally. Startuplifers offers jobs in the fields of technology, design, marketing, and sales. Over the past 8 years in our history, already around 200 students have gained a radical uplift for their careers with our help.
How does it work?
By submitting an application you apply to our talent pool. The Startuplifers team selects to the pool applicants who we think we can find a job in our partner companies. To the selected ones we give feedback on the application and introduce to the startup companies who then proceed with the interviews. After good preparation and acing the interview, we help you with the visas and flights. The introductions are done on a rolling basis and potential starting times vary between April and July 2018.
The University of Turku supports the intern financially with the travel and visa expenses up to 2,500 euros. The grant can be given at the most to two students at the University of Turku. More information about the grants: firstname.lastname@example.org.
