Academic Startups Turku Pitching Event invites academic commersialization projects, pre-startups and startups from all disciplines to present their business concept to investors, practice their pitching skills and to grow their network. The event is hosted by University of Turku, Åbo Akademi University, Turku University of Applied Sciences and Turku Science Park in collaboration with Monttu Ventures.

A maximum of 10 teams will be selected to present their business concept before the panel of judges:

• Ville Heikkinen, Butterfly Ventures
• Kasper Suomalainen, Superhero Capital
• Rasmus Klärck, Icebreaker VC

Pitch practice, hosted by Butterfly Ventures, will be offered to all finalist teams on March 28^th, at 12:00-16:00 at SparkUp.

The winning team will be awarded 2 tickets to the SHIFT Business Festival 2019!

The event takes place on April 9^th, 2019 at 16:00 at SparkUp, Event Arena (Tykistökatu 4, 20520 Turku)
